DAY 1 | Sunday
Welcome to the Dolomites! Today, the team will help guests upon arrival in Cison by either unboxing and tuning up their bikes or assisting with rentals. In the afternoon, we’ll have a brief spin to awaken the legs, followed by a briefing on the coming week.
Arrival day in Cison
DAY 2 | Monday
Our first day on the bikes, the team and riders set out to Passo San Boldo before climbing Cima Nevegal and finishing on Altopiano Alago. We’ll cover a total of 100km and 2,800m in elevation.
Cison to Belluno
DAY 3 | Tuesday
The day begins with Passo Duran and concludes with Passo Giau—one of the most challenging and famous ascents of the Dolomites. We will ride 105km and 3,800m in elevation before finishing the day in Cortina, the charming—and luxurious—mountain town that will host the Winter 2026 Olympics. We’ll ride 105km and cover 3,800m in elevation.
Belluno to Cortina
DAY 4 | Wednesday
Today, the group will experience picturesque riding through the Passo Tre Croci before reaching Misurina Lake and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. At the top of the Tre Cime, we reach a great viewpoint before heading on to the Passo Falzarego and Passo Valparola, offering a spectacular and particularly satisfying descent. As we set out from Corvara, we’ll cover much of the Sella Ronda—one of the Dolomites’ most idyllic loops. It includes three panoramic climbs: the Passo Campolongo, Pordi, and Sella. In total, we’ll cover 120km and 2,400m in elevation.
Corvara to Montagna
DAY 6 | Friday
This is the moment we’ve been waiting for. We leave the scenic loop of Sella Ronda behind us as we take on one of the most difficult climbs in the Dolomites—Passo Manghen. It will be a beast, but it is a serious achievement to have completed it. The day will be 95km and 2,900m in elevation.
Montagna to Feltre
DAY 7 | Saturday
As we recover from Passo Manghen, today we climb Motntegrappa. There are ten different ways to approach its peak, which features a noteworthy monument from World War II. Feltre to Cison
DAY 8 | Sunday
We’ll say our goodbyes and the team will help guests prep for their departures—whether packing up bikes, returning rentals, or helping plan the next stages of travel.

YOUR GUIDE
Nicola Venerus
The founder of Scalata, Nicola, is a native of Friuli Venezia-Giulia. He started cycling in 2012 after transitioning from years of playing semi-professional football. Soon after, his hobby of working on his bicycle became a career when he decided to train as a mechanic, marking the beginning of a career in workshops in Sydney, London, and Manchester, where he was a mainstay of The Service Course.
Concurrently, he joined Rapha Travel, where he gained years of experience running cycling trips in Italy, Spain, France, and Norway. In 2019, he started Scalata to offer tours of his most beloved—and most challenging—routes and climbs. Now a resident of the Veneto, Nicola lives and rides in the Dolomites, and, when not touring, serves as a mechanic for the Italian National Cyclocross Team.
